Germany - Safe Refuge

Is Germany a safe haven for Deaf refugees who have risked their lives to escape from war?

Documentary. In this French programme, reporter Laurent Valo goes to Germany to find out more about the hundreds of thousands of refugees who fled there in 2015; Deaf people amongst them.  It is a powerful account of what life is like for Deaf refugees from places like Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran. We also find out more about how the Refugee Reception Centre in Hamburg works with Deaf refugees and supports them via a highly organised volunteer effort.
