Deaffest 2022 last weekend was a great success – so well organised and enjoyable – many thanks go to the Deaffest team for their hard work in organising it all!
Some of our programmes and short films were shortlisted in the Deaffest Film and TV Awards 2022. They were all winners in our eyes, but three of them won Deaffest awards!
We’re very proud to announce that This Is Deaf: LGBTQIA+ Life won Best TV programme, Summer in Lockdown won Best Documentary and Here/Not Here won Best Film! Many congratulations to everyone who was involved in making them all - simply amazing news!
