We at BSLBT can’t wait to go to Deaffest 2022 in Wolverhampton this weekend – it’s going to be action packed!
On Friday evening, 6th May, there’s a special premiere of Diagnonsense, Samuel Dore’s powerful new film (don’t worry if you don’t catch it that evening; it’ll be out on BSL Zone this autumn).
We’ll have a stall at the Deaffest exhibition at the Light House all day on Saturday, so come and say hello if you’re around. Our friendly EPs will be there to chat from 11am-2pm – and one of them, Cathy Heffernan, will be running a workshop on documentary storytelling at 11.30am too.
Finally, we’ll be having a live stream at 11am, in which Raabia Hussain will be talking to several of the people involved in our short films that have been nominated for awards that evening. So, if you can’t make it, you can take a peek from home!
