Interview programme.  In this episode of Getting Personal, Deepa Shastri meets Pierce Starre, a performance artist who is also a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults.  As the mother of a CODA, Deepa is interested in how Pierce uses his childhood experiences in his art – and how he seeks to use art to inform people about the Deaf community.  Deepa is surprised to discover that Pierce, who is hearing and fluent in BSL, feels stuck between the Deaf and hearing worlds.  Produced and directed by Cathy Heffernan; a Drummer TV production for BSLBT
