Close Up 3: Kevin Buckle

Chat show (2018).  The third series of Close Up, the BSL Zone's in-depth interviews with well-known Deaf people. This time, Tessa Padden interviews Kevin Buckle about his campaigning work for the rights of Black Deaf people and his passion for Black Deaf history.  A descendant of slaves in Jamaica, Kevin later discovered the story of a slave who was Deaf. He also contrasts the high achievements of Black Deaf people in the USA with the position of Black Deaf people in Britain.  A BSLBT production, produced by Tessa Padden and Bob Duncan.
