We at BSLBT are absolutely thrilled to announce that I Want To Change The World has won a Broadcast Award for Best Children’s Programme! Telling the story of deaf teenager Daniel’s quest for a BSL GCSE, I Want To Change The World was produced and directed by Sebastian Cunliffe, working with Drummer TV.
The Broadcast Awards are major TV awards that celebrate the best of British TV programming and channels. One of the judges said they thought I Want To Change The World was, “groundbreaking...for showing that content made in sign language can also work with subtitles for a general audience.”
