Our short film, Almost, has been screened at quite a few festivals already… and it’s just won its first award, the Favourite Alternate Abilities Award at Film Only Film Festival 2020, which is a new international film festival which received entries from over 27 countries!
Filmmaker Teresa Garratty said: "We're so pleased to see Almost win its first award! Competition at any festival can be very fierce, so an award win means a lot for the cast and crew. It also means that Deaf LGBT+ representation is being recognised and appreciated, which is a hugely positive result for all within the community. We're so grateful to all of our supporters, especially FoF Festival, for this wonderful achievement."
