A French documentary following acts of activism throughout the French Deaf community.
Documentary (2019) in LSF (French Sign Language) with English subtitles. The French Deaf community actively participates in protests, despite feeling excluded by inaccessible political issues. Discussions include the Yellow Jacket and Sourds En Colére (Deaf Anger) protests in 2019 and other French Deaf community protests in the 1980s. We also see some 2019 Deaf Anger protests in action, including one that aimed to get LSF formally recognised in the French Constitution. A Pont Du Jour programme for L'Oeil et la Main.
