Two Deaf Travellers go to Japan!

Posted on 4th March 2021

More brilliant news:  Two Deaf Travellers has been screened online in Japan World’s Tourism Film Festival, where it also won third prize in the Independent Travel Video category!

Two Deaf Travellers is a short documentary produced by David Ellington and directed by Raabia Hussain, who is also featured in it, with William Horsefield.  You can view it on our app and here on our website if you haven’t seen it yet!

Raabia said: “It's incredible to see Two Deaf Travellers reach the other side of the world.  We are very honoured to receive 3rd prize, and I believe this is an opportunity to open up the tourism film world.  I hope to see many more Deaf travel films reaching out to film festivals around the world. Thank you, Japan World's Tourism Film Festival.  We are hoping to film in Japan some day!”

Many congratulations, Raabia and everyone else in the team, from all of us at BSLBT!
