We at BSLBT are delighted that Danny Murphy won the Rising Star award at the Royal Television Society (RTS) North East and the Border Centre Awards on Saturday 29th February!
Sixteen-year-old Danny is most famous for his comedy videos – you may also recognise him from Up For It? – and has been involved in several different productions with ITV SignPost. In his acceptance speech, which you can see in the video, Danny thanked ITV SignPost and his family, and said he really didn’t expect to be nominated!
We’re also really chuffed that The Muddy Boot Room was shortlisted for best Non-Broadcast Factual Production, and its presenter, Adam Bassett, was shortlisted for Presenter of the Year, while Never Enough was nominated for the Broadcast Factual Production award.
This is all brilliant news – many congratulations to Danny and everyone else who was involved from all of us at BSLBT!
