Here’s some brilliant news; at the RTS North East and Borders at the weekend, Ahmed Mudawi got a commendation in the Best Presenter category for his ace presenting of This Is Deaf! Raza Hussain, who works as a researcher on the programme, was also shortlisted in the Rising Star category! Hearty congratulations, Ahmed and Raza.
We’re also thrilled to announce that several of our short films and programmes are up for Deaffest 2022 awards! You can see the full list of nominations here on the Deaffest website – many congratulations to everyone who made the shortlists! We can’t wait to go to Deaffest in May.
Finally, congratulations are also due to William Horsefield, whose scary short, Vox Furem, won Best Suspense Unleased at the Horror Unleashed short film festival!
