We at BSL Zone have been pleased to work with ITV SignPost to provide daily COVID-19 news updates in BSL for the past few months.
This was always a temporary measure, aiming to fill a gap. Now, the Government’s briefings are all interpreted and available on YouTube. The briefings are also summarised in BSL by SignHealth every day, and Deaf Station is back and providing daily news too.
So, from week beginning 22nd June, we won’t be providing any more COVID-19 news updates in BSL. We’ll keep our COVID-19 page up, though, with links to the above news sources, plus our COVID-19 livestreams and other related programmes.
