  • I have to admit I feel embarrassed when I saw Dawn Marshall on this clip. I met her a week ago and didn't know who she was. She is famous!! Anyway about this close up programme, I can't wait to watch it and I guess my husband-to-be won't be surprised! I will set the alarm on Monday morning, remember it's bank holiday! Small clip of Doug, wow his face said it all when he mention about changing peoples lives and I do beleive that.

  • I think it is a great programme. I am especially interested in Doug Alker, who wrote a book about his experiences with RNID. I was inspired by that book to write about my own experiences of becoming Deaf.
I really admire Doug Alker, he seems to be a man who lets nothing stand in his way.
