We are excited to learn about a research project that will be looking at one of our programmes – Small World!
Jordan Fenlon and Annelies Kusters at Heriot-Watt University will be working on the year-long project to look at how BSL is used to portray different characters. For example, what aspects of Graham’s BSL indicate his language background? How might this be different to Laura’s BSL? This research project will be carried out in collaboration with Brian Duffy and Ace Mahbaz.
