ITV SignPost, a production company that has worked on a number of our programmes, has won two awards at the Royal Television Society (RTS) North East Awards.
One of the awards was the Centre Award; part of the reason for this was ITV SignPost’s great work in their development of emerging Deaf talent.
The other award was the Rising Star award, which went to Giles Bowman. It recognised him as a promising Deaf TV professional who is developing skills in camera operating, assistant directing and graphics. Giles has worked on several of our programmes, including Life Stories, The Beautiful Game and Up For It 3 with SignPost.
