The filmmakers who have been accepted onto the BSL Zone's Zoom filmmaking scheme this year have been announced!
The Zoom scheme is for new filmmakers, while the Zoom Focus scheme gives people with some filmmaking experience the chance to make a longer film. 
Those accepted will be given the chance to work with a professional production company - Neath Films - to get the support they need to make their films.
The BSLBT would like to congratulate the successful filmmakers and say a big thank you to everyone who applied this year!

The successful filmmakers are:

Jean St. Clair - Working title of her film: "If I don't Lose, I'll Lose" - Drama
Thomas Giddens - Working title: "The Ugly face of the Beautiful Game" - Factual


Jack Smallwood - Working title: "This is I: Remember Me" - Factual

John Finn - Working title: "Big Decision" (WT) - Factual
Zoom Focus:
Melissa Mostyn - Working title: "Grief and the Deaf Child" - Factual


Rinkoo Barpaga - Working title: "How To Tell If You Are Racist" - Factual
This year, there is also Zoom Shadow, which is a new component to the ZOOM scheme offering 6 participants the chance to take part in the scheme, attending the training masterclasses as well as working on the selected films.
