Almost is an Official Selection for Brighton Rocks!

Posted on 25th October 2019

Almost, one of our new short films created by Teresa Garratty, has made it onto the Official Selections list for the Brighton Rocks International Film Festival (BRIFF)!  This is a great achievement for the Almost team – many congratulations from all of us at BSLBT.

Teresa said, ‘We're so pleased to be part of the official selection for another mainstream film festival. Especially one based in the LGBT+ capital of the UK, where Deaf LGBT+ people can feel represented as part of the wider community.’

BRIFF is a Brighton-based film festival that fits with ‘Brighton’s out-there creative universe’.  This year is their third year running the festival – they hope ‘to become the UK’s main festival for indie and underground cinema.’  If you’re curious, and want to find out more about the festival, go to their website here and their FilmFreeway page here.

If you want to watch Almost, then keep an eye on BSL Zone’s website and social media pages for its’ release date!
