Drama Commissioner (part-time)

British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust is a young, successful charity with an ambitious agenda.  Funded by commercial broadcasters, we commission television programmes made in British Sign Language and we support the companies and Deaf programme-makers who produce them.

Reporting the Chief Executive, the Drama Commissioner will work closely with BSLBT’s Head of Production and Production Executives.  They will contribute to drama commissioning planning, working with the Chief Executive and Head of Production on key aspects of the drama commissioning process and the development and implementation of strategic aims.  They will also be BSLBT’s editorial lead on selected drama development projects and commissions.
