BSLBT recruits two new Trustees
Voluntary positions; expenses paid
BSLBT is a young, high-performing charity that exists to make sign-presented TV programmes and online content available to the Deaf community who use BSL as their first, or preferred, language.
Since it started in 2008, BSLBT has established a track record of excellence and we have won a number of awards for our commissions. BSLBT became a charity in January 2012.
The board is mainly made up of members of our two key stakeholder groups: the Deaf community and the mainstream broadcasting/programme-making world.
On this occasion, we have two vacancies and we are looking to strengthen the Board’s skills and experience in:
- Finance and investment
- Charity governance
At least one of our appointments must be Deaf.
You would be joining the charity at an exciting time, with Trustees committed to building on our substantial success to date.
