Comedy-drama (2010).  A short film charting a Deaf life through one Deaf man’s memories. As his mother looks through old family photographs, we travel back to when he was a baby, his days at school, looking for love as a teenager, and meeting his father. The film explores various aspects of British Deaf culture, with references to many common features of Deaf life in this country. Directed by Jonathan Reid as part of the BSLBT’s Zoom filmmaking scheme, A Deaf Life stars Matthew Kirby in all major roles.
