Oxford Deaf club organises a Deafilm night a few times a year. On Friday 1st February they invited me to attend to show some BSL Zone films. There were 40 people in the audience and they were a mixture of young and old people which was great to see. It is a really thriving Deaf club.
I screened Still Here as a tribute to Hal Draper who passed away in December and it brought some tears to members of audience.
The feedback was brilliant and they want to see more comedy and more young people in our films. I also screened You, Me which they thought was a beautiful film to watch with the young girl acting brilliantly.
