For the week beginning Monday 6th August two of our Zoom 2011 films will be shown on television.
Five Needles, directed and written by Julian Peedle Calloo, charts the plight of four Deaf Jewish women in a Nazi sewing factory, and CODA, directed and written by Melissa Mostyn-Thomas, follows a Deaf girl’s struggle to fit in with her hearing family.
They will be shown on Film Four at 8am on Monday 6th August, and then on the Community Channel at 2pm on Tuesday 7th August, 7.30pm on Thursday 9th August and 7.30am on Saturday 11th August. They are already available to watch online on the BSL Zone player.
