Our World War One drama Battle Lines has been honoured with a runner-up award at the Imperial War Museum Short Film Festival.

All of the films shown there explored conflict, including the First and Second World Wars as well as conflicts in other parts of the world.

Battle Lines, which tells the story of a Deaf man who is prevented from serving in the war, was nominated for three awards at the festival, before it had even been shown on television.

The drama, directed by Julian Peedle-Calloo, was named runner-up in the category of First World War Commendation.
