The cast of our brand-new comedy Small World have completed one week of rehearsals in London and are now preparing for filming in Manchester next week.

Small World is a ground-breaking sitcom which is being devised using improvisation in BSL. It was created by Brian Duffy and Ace Mahbaz (who also star in the comedy) and is directed by Louis Neethling.

The story is about two Deaf men who are looking for new housemates to share their flat in London. Other members of the cast include Adam Bassett, Sophie Stone, Ilan Dwek and David Sands.

Now that the rehearsals are over, creators Brian Duffy and Ace Mahbaz are writing the final script ahead of filming at a specially-designed set. The programme is being made by Mutt and Jeff Pictures with Martin Wright as producer.

Small World will be shown on television from Monday 29th December 2014.
