Penny Beschizza visited Brent Deaf Centre's October BSL meeting last week, to talk about the BSL Zone.

More than 15 people were in attendance, watching clips from the last six years of the BSL Zone's programmes, including Small World, talking about the range of characters in our sitcom.

She also explained the Zoom filmmaking scheme, how the commissioning process works, and demonstrated how people can find content covering different ages and backgrounds on our website.

The following evening, Penny attended the London BAME (Black Asian Minority Ethnic) event, where people told her how much they enjoy BSL Zone dramas, and she found out about the interest in Deaf-led Muslim-focused programming.
