BSLBT is very pleased to welcome Jen Dodds as the BSL Zone's new Web Editor.
Jen started working in the Deaf community over 20 years ago. Since then she has had a variety of roles, including editing the BBC Ceefax’s Read Hear pages and the BDA’s British Deaf News. Jen has also worked in research at City University, London, and The University of Central Lancashire, Preston, where she also supported Deaf students.
A qualified BSL/English interpreter and translator since 2009, Jen, who is Deaf, also co-runs Team HaDo Ltd, which provides proofreading and translation.
Jen will be keeping you posted on upcoming programmes, news and events – and will be looking at ways of bringing more BSL content to the site. If you’d like to contact Jen with any ideas or feedback, you can contact her by email at firstname.lastname@example.org and she can arrange to talk to you in BSL via Skype or Facetime if you prefer.
Jen will also be looking after the BSL Zone on Facebook and Twitter.
