Five of our films have been selected for screenings at the Deaf Rochester Film Festival in America, which is on from March 22nd to March 25th!

The films are: If I Don’t Lose, I’ll Lose, World War II: Unheard Memories Part One, Shakespeare: Found In Translation, Double Discrimination and Chasing Cotton Clouds.

We at BSLBT would like to congratulate everyone involved in making those films – brilliant news.  We know they’re all happy too!

Jean St Clair, who directed If I Don’t Lose, I’ll Lose, also said “I hope the film festival goers will enjoy the film; it has universal issues within the Deaf community, as well as the wider community, in terms of body image and job equality - albeit in a humorous way.”
