The team behind our World War One drama Battle Lines are celebrating after receiving two RTS (Midlands Centre) award nominations.

The film is about a Deaf man who looks for acceptance in his local community when he is prevented from serving in World War I. It was directed by Julian Peedle-Calloo and made by 104 Films.

Producer Justin Edgar said:

"I'm delighted that Battle Lines had been recognised by the royal television society. It's a great affirmation for Julian's great skill and humanity as a director".

It has been nominated for Best Fictional Television Programme and for the Diversity Award.
