As part of the BSL Zone's Wicked series, new Deaf filmmakers were given the chance to make a short film with support from Remark, who made the series.

Now, the BSL Zone is showing all of the Wicked Seeds films as stand-alone films for the first time!

The latest Wicked Seeds to be shown is 24/7 by Adam Bassett. You can watch his film on the right-hand side of this page (or click here to go to the video page!).

We also interviewed Adam about his memories of making the film. Here is what he said!

Did you enjoy making it?

Yes very much! I enjoyed directing the film, but I also had to act because another actor couldn't make it at the last minute!

What was the filming like?

It's very tough to work with a hearing camera person, but we found another way to communicate using the script and storyboard.

At times it wasn't easy but I was amazed when we managed to film it all in under five hours! I had three inexperienced actors but they did better than I expected!

Did you like the final film?

Yeah I believe it's not bad, although I wish I had more time to film and to edit too.

What did people think?

Everybody seemed to enjoy it and thought it was hilarious, saying it's true that some interpreters were like this.

A few interpreters did come up to me and say "I don't act like this" which I found funny!
