A Deaf teenager has a voice when an interpreter visits
Drama about a Deaf boy who finds his voice when an interpreter visits his home. A young football fan is left out at home until the day a sign language interpreter comes, when suddenly he is able to show his father the extent of his knowledge, and finally ask his mother the questions he really wanted to know. This film focuses on the importance of communication within families, and has a twist at the end. The directing debut of Deaf actor Brian Duffy, Strangers was made as part of the BSLBT’s Zoom filmmaking scheme.
